On joining Beeper Inc, you will be required to attend the induction programme “welcoming you to Beeper Inc”. This programme is an introduction to our unique values and culture and provides an operational and technical overview of Beeper Inc activities.

  1. Treating all employees with fairness, dignity and compassion.
  2. Ensuring that employees who have HIV or AIDS are not unfairly discriminated against.
  3. Managing HIV and AIDS in the workplace by:
    • Creating a safe and supportive working environment (one that is conducive to disclosure and acceptance).
    • Adopting measures to prevent the spread of AIDS, including HIV/AIDS awareness presentations and programmes.
    • Offering all permanent employees’ access to the Beeper Inc  HIV/AIDS Management Programme at no cost. This is a comprehensive, confidential programme, which aims to assist:
      1. HIV negative employees to remain negative through education and awareness training.
 
      • HIV positive employees to remain healthy and to delay the onset of AIDS through the provision of primary health management and the careful use of anti-retroviral medication at the correct time.
      • Employees with AIDS to manage the disease and to prolong life expectancy through   anti- retroviral treatment.

Beeper Inc is committed to providing disabled employees with a supportive and nurturing working environment through a comprehensive disability procedure. Disability benefits are available only to employees under the age of 60 years.
